Update on Weight Loss and tips to stay on and not give up
It has been a month since l started the weight loss regimen. I have lost 2 pounds (1,5 kg) in one month. My goal from here is to lose 19 pounds (9 kg). For you who are new to my blog, how l did it is l stopped eating processed sugar, corn, white rice and fried foods. Did l cheat? Yes, I did. Within this month l had sugar 3 times. Had fast food 2 times and had rice and corn 3 times. Most of them while we were moving house. It is not perfect, put it is a start. Here are the tips that helped me so far;
- Carrying almonds in my purse. When you are eating healthy, as the time of the next meal approaches you start to feel very hungry. Nearly starving. That's when l most wanted to cheat. Snack on the almonds. They make you feel full and satisfied. They eliminated the feeling of panic that your body and mind goes trough when you are very hungry.
- Don't give up because you cheated. So you had that peace of cake. Don't use it as an excuse the leave your health life style choices. Take a deep breath and start fresh the next day or the next meal.
- Move. Work out, do the dishes, clean house, take a walk, whatever you do keep moving as much as you can.
- Go easy on the fruits. Did you know that to burn an apple you need to walk half an hour? So, go easy on the fruits that contain high levels of sugar. I replaced apples for berries. I eat apples when l am pms'ing.
- Drink water. Drink water. Drink water. As a bonus, it helps your skin and hair also.
I am getting there slowly. But l didn't get depressed, starved myself or got cross with the world. I am trying not to put too much pressure on my self as life is very hard as it is. But my motto is, respect your self enough to care about what you put in to your body. The body we are given is a blessing and we need to protect it.

Saglikli yasam ve rejimsel konularda size biraz guncelleme vereyim istedim. Rejim kelimesini hic sevmiyorum, saglikli yasam tarzina geceli bir ay oldu. Bir ayda 1,5 kilo verdim. Hedefim 9 kilo daha vermek. Blog'a yeni gelenler icin uyguladigim yontem, rafine seker, misir, princ ve kizarmis gidalar tuketmiyorum. Peki hic sastigim oldu mu? Tabiki oldu. Gecen ay icinde 3 kere seker yedim. 2 kere fast food. 3 kere princ ve misir. Peki dunyanin sonu geldi mi gelmedi.
Benim icin ise yarayan bazi ipuclarini sizinle de paylasmak istedim.
- Artik cantamda badem tasiyorum. Saglikli yasama gecince diger ogune gelirken inanilmaz acikmis oluyorsunuz. Boyle goz donmesi seklinde. Cok ac oluncada vucut ve beyin resmen bir panik moduna griyor. En cok da bu zamanlar rejim bozuluyor. Simdi cantamdan cikardigim bademleri atistiriyorum. Akmiyor, kokmuyor. Tok tutuyor, daha ne isteriz!
- Bir kere bozduk diye vazgececek degiliz. Diyeti bozduk diye tamamen birakmaya son. Bunu artik bahane etmiyoruz. Ertesi gun, hatta bir sonraki ogun yeniden basliyoruz.
- Hareket, hareket, hareket! Evi toplayin, spora gidin, toz alin, bulasik yikayin ama hareket edin.
- Meyvelere cok yumulmayin. Bir elmayi yakmak icin yarin saat yurumek gerektigini biliyor muydunuz?
- Su icelim. Bol bol icelim. Hep birlikte icelim. Hem bonus olarak cildimiz ve sacimizda guzellesiyor daha ne isteriz.
Iste boyle, zor bu isler, hem de cok zor. Ama birbirimize destek olalim oldu mu?
